What is Invisalign®?

What does orthodontic treatment with Invisalign involve?

If Dr. Kakosian determines you have an alignment issue that can benefit from treatment, he takes digital scans of your mouth and uploads them to a computer-aided design (CAD) program.
Dr. Kakosian uses the program to develop an orthodontic treatment plan that maps out the movements of your teeth and jaw. After explaining the entire process, he sends your scans to an Invisalign laboratory that manufactures your first set of custom aligners.
During the course of orthodontic treatment, you visit DentAlign NYC every two or three weeks. At each visit, you transition to a new set of aligners, and Dr. Kakosian monitors your progress. Make sure to wear your aligners for 20-22 hours each day, only removing them to brush your teeth or eat.
